Dance in the Rain

Once in a year, every citizen of the big city experience a day of loneliness, isolation and an incredible feeling down supported by horrible rain, in other words London miserable syndrome. I hoped to avoid it, but here I am describing my readers one such day I experienced myself.

Saturday morning, I pushed my ass off the bed at 6 am. It was one of those days of nasty and cold London weather, when the severe wind blows through the streets, thick layers of clouds stuff the sky and there is not just nasty-nasty rain, but RAIN, which makes you wet not only with the normal drops from the sky, but with weird rainwater materialized from the thick fog. The rain was pouring a couple of days already both outdoors and in my soul, which realized that my family and friends are really far away to talk to me face to face. Well, that was the day of my IELTS test. I get really nervous before any test, that's why I, consequently, stick my mind together and do better in the real test than in just practical lessons. But that's another story: my test went awful! Right from the beginning I was given a task that I have never seen in my life, so I went really mad on my teacher who were supposed to warn me that 'producing electricity from coal' might appear in the test of my English language skills! Seriously, when I saw that question there were the sounds of grasshoppers in my head.

Later that day I somehow lost a bracelet that has been on my arm every single day since 2013. I was desperately looking everywhere(I guess, right now I would be an expert of Westminster University main building, cause I've searched every metre of it hoping to find my precious bracelet). I was so upset that I kept loosing focus on the second part of the test which have also went badly. Finally, I went outside and walked to the underground under the downfall feeling so hollow in the chest. I was irritated by every person walking in the tube who doesn't know elementary colloquial english: learn the language, immigrant, if you have decided to move to this country!(said Naya who is, actually, an immigrant too, and according to how the test flowed, not an English pro as well) For the first time since I moved to UK, I felt so homesick. When I arrived to empty flat feeling dizzy, sick and ill(thanks to London weather) all I could do is cover myself in a blanket and watch Pretty Little Liars. Meanwhile, the rain outside was so matching with my mood as it's ever been. I was invited to the birthday party that day and, obviously, I wasn't in the party mood. Nevertheless, my sister kicked me off the bed and that was the best decision for that day. The birthday appeared so fun and warm, I was surrounded by dances, laughs and jokes, while the same rain was pouring outdoors. Back at home, I found... my bracelet(!!!) blinking on the edge of my table, so I literally Turned out, my sister's friend found it laying on the floor and put it on the table.
What's the moral of this story? Guys, no matter how down you feel in the moment, the rain will eventually stop, and all you need is not just sitting and waiting till the sun comes, just dance in the rain!
